The insides of the drawers are completely unlit (only use an emissive texture), for performance reasons. Also, they only spawn when the player interacts with the drawer.

We simulated the lighting and baked it into textures using a Substance Painter filter called Baked Lighting. We also had to manually adjust it and paint some additional lighting in some parts.

The reflections of the wood were very important and the baseline ones weren´t good enough, so our programmers faked them using 360 captures.

We made optimized versions of the elements on screen, and switched between them depending on the player position.
It was a long process, but allowed us to gain some performance.

[Oculus Quest] Netjets VR experience

Oculus Quest VR experience for our client Netjets.: https://www.netjets.com/en-us/
This is an interactive experience where the user can physically move inside a Citation Latitude airplane and interact with all the objects inside.
Since it was meant for Oculus Quest, performance was a big focus for us, and we applied many techniques to reach our target framerate.
Keep in mind that this was a team effort. Visuals were done by Roberto Picó and me: https://www.artstation.com/pikolop
I focused mainly on the passenger cabin and cockpit, but in the end we both got our hands on everything.
