Barro y Oro. Palacio de Pontecorvo.

360º Render of the palace from Unreal.
We adjusted the colors for the HTC Vive using postprocessing, which was lost when taking this panorama. For that reason, some colors are strange.

We tried using volumetric fog and lighting to capture the mood of the scene but performance dropped to unplayable levels.

We used particles and material effects to fake the light scattering trough the fog. It looks a bit extreme on the Unreal Editor, but works better in VR.

Barro y Oro. Palacio de Pontecorvo.

Short VR experience we made for La Peste season 2, for our clients El Cañonazo and Movistar+.
This experience was meant to be played inside the Seville town hall, as part of a transmedia campaign.
The original plan was to use photogrammetry for the palace, but in the end we has to scrap most of it and remake the models and textures by hand. We use some assets from libraries here and there, but the vast majority of what you see was either made by me or Roberto Picó: https://www.artstation.com/pikolop

For the final event, we also added a smell system called ___________, that sprays olours into the environment depending on the actions of the player troughout the event. i.e: when a procession gets near the player, he can smell incense.
